Morning everyone. Bright and sunny here in Swansea. 3 GCh and parents arrived late last night and are up and about but haven’t come into our bedroom yet!!!? DH still sleeping soundly alongside me- amazing, he can sleep through anything. Think I’ll get up now and say hello to them all.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all,

A lovely bright, but chilly late Summer morning. The forecast states it will become warmer as the day progresses, so should be able to get my little bit of washing dry.

A lazy day in store today apart from a bit of ironing and shopping.

Hope your day is a good one. ?

Good morning, lovely bright day in the NE.
Specialist nurse visiting this morning and this afternoon DH and I are going to look at a car, the showroom have been ringing us for a week or two. Shock, horror our car will be 5 years old soon and we have never kept one that long.

Morning all!

Back from our weekly supermarket trip, all unpacked and put away and we have had breakfast. Getting ready for visit from DD and DGD and DGs before they go off to the End of the Road Festival at Larmer Gardens, near Salisbury. It's back to school/college next Tuesday so Autumn draws on!

It is a perfect day here on the south coast- bright and mild. Hope it's a good one for us all.

Morning Mick, Annie and all here and to come.
Marydoll, isn't it lovely when the workmen no longer wake you at the crack of dawn?
It's a lovely bright and sunny morning here, although a tad on the chilly side.
Nothing planned, but I do have a small job that could be done today, if DH is willing to be party to my idea. I'll work on that one.
Have a good day one and all.

Good morning from a bright but cloudy Colchester. Feels chilly.
Last day with DGS1 until next week. Not sure what we'll do as my feet still ache from the day in London yesterday.

Greyduster Thu 30-Aug-18 07:53:17

Good morning Michael and all GNs. Sunny here in South Yorkshire. I am waiting for GS to arrive. Not sure what we’ll do today but a swim is probably on the cards at some point. We are requested to give him tea before he goes home this evening as their fridge freezer has broken down. Always glad to feed him! Have a good day, folks.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all!

North Leicestershire is fairly bright this morning. Usual Sainsbury's shop this morning and then lunch with a friend at the restaurant in the village assuming her Dh is well enough to leave. He had a cystoscopy on Sunday and is on dialysis and seems to be finding it difficult to get back to normal.

Have a really lovely day nina!

Good morning all from a bright N Bucks Just the sort of Summer/Autumn morning I think we all love.
With a busy weekend coming up, I think today is allocated to clearing the decks and being prepared.
There will be some extra Granny duty ahead too as DD1 has 2 Inset Days next week and DD2 has tech week for her Royal Court production which means 10 hour days and I am also booked to see Mark Rylance in Othello at the Globe.
Feeling tired already.
Have a lovely day!

Marydoll Thu 30-Aug-18 07:20:04

That was meant to be, 8am!

Marydoll Thu 30-Aug-18 07:13:22

Good morning Mick, and all who follow. It's beautiful autumn morning here in Glasgow and surprisingly quite mild.
This is the first day in six weeks we will have no-one knocking on the door at a.m. It is bliss, being able to take our time getting dressed.

DH is painting the new skirting boards and I will be cleaning my very dirty house. grin.
We have a man coming to quote for a new alarm, DS2 and girlfriend are coming for dinner and I'm off out for a glass of vino ?with two very old friends. It's just as busy as usual.
To all those childminding today and those feeling under par, flowers.

ninathenana Thu 30-Aug-18 07:13:00

Morning Mick and everyone.

Forecast is good for today, so we are going to Moat Park, which has a lake and a large play area it also has a very good café for some lunch.
DGS x2 have been no trouble at all this week. It's been as if we'd never stopped seeing them.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning all

Cloudy with sun here in the Black Country

Flew back to Birmingham Airport yesterday afternoon, to bright sunshine! We had a lovely few days in Krakow, now back to reality!

I am off to Lichfield to meet friends for lunch, so the holiday washing can wait until tomorrow smile

Have lovely day all.

Morning All

A golden sunrise here in Norfolk. Granddogs let me lie in until just after six this morning. Off in half an hour to pick up DD2. The dogs had a really good run yesterday so we may visit the Time and Tide Museum in Great Yarmouth today. Apparently we have a parcel being delivered today. Sometime. So it depends when that arrives.

ginny Thu 30-Aug-18 06:46:09

An early Good morning from N. Bucks. DH has gone off to golf and I’m off in a couple of hours to meet some long time friends with DD3 and both DGSs. Weather forecast is reasonable so fingers crossed.

DoraMarr Thu 30-Aug-18 06:36:57

Good morning! A bright start today in Birmingham, but with some gathering clouds. Up early to have a slow start to my two more days of childminding: ten month old grandson arriving shortly, and he will stay the night. Nothing much planned except some shopping in our soon to be reopened supermarket opposite- I’ve missed being able to pop over for supplies. We’ll have a walk in the park later, and then I have a friend coming over for a cup of tea in the afternoon.
I hope everyone has a good day today- enjoy your bus trips Michael!

Good Morning Everyone,
Its a little grey but looks like it could turn out to be a nice day here in Brackley my usual 2nd trip out of the week today , to my now familiar haunts in Bicester and Buckingham using the local bus links .
