People who put dirty dishes on the draining board and think the washing -up fairy is going to deal with them.

Addendum: people who park their cars on the pavement. Plenty of space opposite, newly tarmaced pavement, and neighbour's friend has parked bang on the it. Makes me mad.

I would ban scratchy labels as well, also the very, very large ones sewn on scarves ( you know who you are M&S)always sewn on so that they show at the bottom of the scarf.

Also on the hit list are: people who let doors slam in your face, umbrellas that won’t open properly when you need them to, dirty tables in cafes ( when staff are lounging about doing nothing) noisy people in restaurants ( so that you can’t hear your companions conversation ) and anyone walking about town with a small child in a pushchair and three big labradors on leads getting in everyone's way and with the dogs slobbering at passing legs (I know, how often does it happen but it did today.)

Definitely the scratchy labels- they're so difficult to cut off and if you leave a tiny corner it still scratches.
I would ban the use of the word "wee" at supermarket checkouts. I think this is a Northern Irish thing. Put your wee card in, would you like a wee bag, have you a wee loyalty card. grrr!

People with a sense of entitlement who talk so loudly in restaurants (with posh voices) that you cannot hear what your companion at your table the other side of room is saying. People in our small cinema who bring glasses of wine into the film and fall asleep and snore.......and you trip on their b*** glass as you leave. Brilliant thread btw.

People who walk their dogs near me and on Thursday mornings drop their dog poop and early morning snack leftovers in my just emptied bin. Not only would I like them in the stocks I know what I would throw at them.
And of course scratchy labels.

Tweedle24, whenever I phone my friend her cat starts to make a fuss and wants to be let out and when I dog sit for my son if anyone phones he jumps up and tries to sit on my lap, fortunately he is small. So will add to my list:

1. Not using indicators, especially on roundabouts

2. Men wearing hats indoors, particularly in restaurants (they are usually baseball caps)

3. People talking loudly on trains and in restaurants, whether or not using mobile 'phones

4. Mothers swearing loudly at their children in the street

5. TV announcers using plural verbs for singular subjects e.g. England were doing well.

6. Cats jumping onto lap when I am trying to post, making it take twice as long

I did once sit near a young woman in the quiet coach of a train, Marthjolly1, who actually sucked her crisps silently. It was very impressive.

Crisp packets annoy me too shirleyw on train journeys. Rustle, rustle, crunch, crunch, rustle. Drives me mad, along with all the smell, prawn, cheese and onion, salt & vinegar all at the same time.
