You might want to check other customers’s reviews if you are buying clothes- they will tell you if the clothes come up large, for instance, or whether they wash well. It’s also a good idea to look at the returns policy of an online store: sometimes, but not always, returns are free, sometimes you have to pay the postage, sometimes you can return in store, and sometimes you can only return via a carrier, which may be a problem if you don’t live near a returns point. The big advantage is that you can buy different sizes ( provided returns are free) and try them on at home with different shoes, earrings etc.
