Good morning. I haven’t posted here before, but it seems a nice way to start the day. I have my baby grandson to care for today, and he’s having his morning nap now, so I have my feet up and am having coffee and a Tunnock’s caramel wafer. He weighs 24 pounds, so I reckon once I’ve picked him up a few times today I’ll have worked that off. It’s quite cool here in Birmingham, and it doesn’t look as though the sun is going to break through any time soon, so our daily walk around the park may be quite a brisk one ( or as brisk as I can make it- did I mention he is nearly 2 stones?)

A grey sky at the moment, but forecast to remain dry with sunny intervals. Cooler than of late, and last night was much more comfortable for sleeping, yet I still kept waking up!

Morning Mick, Annie and all. Oh Annie, how I so wish that I/we could see you riding round the cul-de-sac on your new wheels. How exciting, do enjoy yourself. My day yesterday was pants, to put it politely, so am hoping for much better things today. Not anything that a haircut can't put right. Phoenix, How's your's by the way?
One good thing yesterday, I bought a Fiona Cairns chocolate for 95p, just before Waitrose closed. (Other cake makes and supermarkets are available) I did cut it up and freeze, most of it though.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Cloudy in South Yorkshire this morning. I had an awful day yesterday and went to bed at 7.30p.m., read for half an hour and slept for twelve! I hope today will be better. At least we got the car sorted out. The oil warning light was a computer error and what was dripping from underneath was not oil but air con coolant. Onward and upward. Another pleasant dry sunny morning but a lot cooler and lots of dew first thing.The grass is back all lush and green.....sadly the same cannot be said for our palms and pines ......yet the beautiful displays in our towns have held up beautifully.

A quiet day is hoped for after two viewers in a row......could be hopeful but here in west Wales it is a buyers market with so many choice properties for sale,buyers are really taking their time.
One Optician visited and a mortgage needed for all that is needed..........but eyes are so precious and we dare not argue!!

Good morning, sunny start here in the NE. I stayed under the duvet for the best part of the night, decent temperature for sleeping.
DH and I are going out for lunch and then I must seriously knuckle down and sort out GC's birthday presents.

Meeting up with an ex work colleague for lunch today in the lovely market town of Bridgnorth, not met up since March so a lot to catch up on. She has been touring Europe in their caravan for a couple of months.

Morning everyone! We must have passed in the night Nina - I finally got to sleep at about 4. I was delighted when the bin men came at 7.30. Not worried about DDs wedding, just very aware that it’s ten days away . Hairdresser this morning and then a shed load of ironing.

Very overcast in the north of Norfolk and there’s rain in the air - but not yet on the ground.

Really glad we had such a lovely day yesterday, the DGC ran themselves to a standstill at the Dinosaur Park (including getting soaked in the water park bit). They’re still in bed! A craft and cooking day today.

Drizzling in Kent. Didn't need the fan on last night as it was much cooler, so why have I been up since 4am We are forecast heavy rain later (hope so) H gone out for his paper before it starts.
Nothing much happening today. Envious of all you with visiting GC I'm counting the days till the 25th.

It's raining here on the south coast - proper rain which is the first for weeks and weeks. So good to see!
