Morning Annie, you beat me to it, and exciting news about your scooter. Please let us know about your first ride out on The Razzle
Good morning to Michael and all GN's. It's much cooler here, actually a few clouds, but a lovely fresh breeze that I'm grateful for. Yesterday, my washing got wet ? oh no! The downside is, that my beautifully cleaned windows, courtesy of the lovely Matthew, are now splattered and stained and what looks like a sandstorm has hit them. I will try the Viakal tip. Do you know, I am getting so forgetful, I forgot the name of said stuff, and had to go and find the bottle and check.
Greyduster, I do hope that your new car is under warranty, what an end to your holiday, but you are home safe and sound.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, still feels humid here although it did cool a little during the night enough to turn the Dyson off.
We have two weeks without childcare, grown up restaurants beckon.

Marydoll Wed 08-Aug-18 08:44:59

Oh Annie that's great news. smile

Morning all-interested in the Nippon Pest control Panache. I live in dread of spiders in the autumn in my bedroom-would Nippon do the trick do you think?

Good Morning all

Another bright sunny morning here in the Black Country.

I have already been to Sainsburys to buy a few bits and bobs, just having a coffee before deciding if I should start the ironing! smile

Such a shame about your car Greyduster, as it is only 2 years old would it still be covered by a warranty?

I am driving over to Mums later today and meeting up with my Brother and SIL for lunch.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning from cloudy Colchester. Some overnight rain and temperatures 10 degrees down on yesterday (I couldn't move without sweating!)
Wednesday coffee meetup in town this morning.

Good morning.
Cooler with a breeze here in N. Bucks.
DGS 1 still here today. He hasn’t surfaced yet but will probably have some ideas of what he would like to do today.

gillybob Wed 08-Aug-18 07:58:59

Typical that’s its forecast rain ...

gillybob Wed 08-Aug-18 07:58:35

Good morning Mick and everyone . It’s sunny but breezy on the NE coast this morning . Off to work again sadly but I’ve got a long weekend off to look forward to so roll on Thursday tea time !

Have a good Wednesday . smile

Morning to everyone, quite bright today here in NE Fife hopefully it will turn out fine. No DGS today so will get on with some household chores and perhaps a browse around some shops. Enjoy your day whatever you end up doing.

Good Morning all from another grey morning in Wales.........however it clears up into a very acceptable day.

A busy day for me that is ......another viewer .......they are coming in twos now (although we suspect they are merely on holiday and like to snoop...........BUT you never know!!)
Then shopping for the week and the chemist for our bag of goodies ........my DH in charge there whilst I go for a much needed eye test...............that is one busy day in my life right now!!!

We have just bought NIPPON PEST CONTROL........a smoke which in the past whenset off in a closed room overnight exterminates ALL flies, and as a bonus it lasts at least a year keeping the peskies at bay.

Whilst wishing our Soop a very happy birthday......make it the best gal!!!

Good knowing you are safely home GreyD.........but what a drain and real pain about your car break down, but as you said, main thing being you are safe.

Have a pleasant day folks

Morning all.

A few flashes and bangs before bed time last night but not a lot of rain. Kent is cloudy and muggy this morning.
Greyduster shame about the car, I get really grouchy and frustrated if mine is not right. Hope the bill is modest.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning.

Morning Mick and All.

Lovely sunny slightly cooler day in South Bucks.

Day 2 of having the grandchildren. They had a riot yesterday afternoon/evening playing with all the local kids on the green in front of our house. It was great to hear the laughter. It must have been like this years ago when children played in the streets and the women stood on the front step chatting to each other.

Good morning from a cooler North Leicestershire where is bright with a little breeze.

Out for a cuppa this morning after I've changed the beds ready for this weekend's visitors. I think I'll pay to have this lot ironed if it stays this warm.

Many happy returns to the super soop should she see this.

gd, that's a bit of a b****r with a new car. Aren't you off on your travels again soon?

Greyduster Wed 08-Aug-18 07:07:39

Good morning, Michael and all GNs, from a sunny South Yorkshire. We are home, wonderful holiday over, up to our necks in laundry so the washing machine will be busy today. Just got off the motorway last night, ten minutes from home, and our two year old car broke down! Managed to limp home but I think we have an expensive repair to look forward to. Still, we are sound in wind and limb and have happy memories to look back on! Have a good day, folks!

Good morning, quite cool in Lancashire today. A refreshing breeze coming through my bedroom window, shame about the traffic noise. No rain though.
Have a good day everyone.

Marydoll Wed 08-Aug-18 07:03:36

Morning all, no-one was one when I started posting.? I'm as slow as a snail, typing this morning.?

Marydoll Wed 08-Aug-18 07:02:15

Good morning, Mick, we too are plagued with flies just now, we can't get rid of them. They were even in my dentist's surgery yesterday, horrible things.
It's a cloudy morning here in Glasgow, but the sun is trying to poke through.
DH is off to play golf, so I shall enjoy the peace and quiet.
Off out later to do a bit of shopping and if it stays dry, try and tidy up the garden, now that some of the building materials are gone.
Have a good day all and best wishes to the birthday girl, Soop.

Gagagran Wed 08-Aug-18 07:01:44

Morning Mary!

Gagagran Wed 08-Aug-18 07:01:10

Morning Mick and everyone!

It is much cooler here on the south coast but we didn't have any rain overnight despite the forecast.

DH is out with his bike club today and I am tackling some kitchen drawers which need a good clear out. It's choir this evening which is always a highlight for me. Good fun, good chums and hopefully, now and then, some good singing. grin

Hope the day is a good one for us all.

ContraryMary88 Wed 08-Aug-18 06:59:50

Good morning Mick, I’m with you on the fly problem, but it’s cloudy here today so hopefully when I poke my nose out it will be cooler and they will stop coming indoors. Just a food shopping trip planned for today and a search around the charity shops for bowls for the 19 people who are coming to stay over the Bank Holiday and some cutlery, if I’m lucky.
Have a good day.

12Michael Wed 08-Aug-18 06:51:33

Good Morning Everyone,
Yet another warm start this morning here in Brackley , getting fed up of the flies about using everything I have to get rid of them maybe a change in the weather will end it.
Mick
