A late good morning from here on the NE coast. I worked in the garden until late last night so got most of my jobs done. Another lovely day means I can sit and enjoy all my hard work.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another hot one with clear skies atm.
Family here for roast chicken dinner...glad DH is cooking.

harrigran Sun 05-Aug-18 08:53:23

Good morning, a pleasant 16 degrees here in the NE.
A quiet morning and then off to collect GD, last few days of childcare before their two week holiday.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. Going to be a hot one in Cornwall but wall to wall mist at the moment. Not sure what we are doing but I hope it doesn’t entail getting in the car! This evening we are barbecuing the fish we caught on Thursday. DH sprained his ring finger yesterday so we are applying ice and hoping for the best. Have a good day, folks.

Good morning all. As Ginny said, warming up in N Bucks again.
I am off to stay with a friend in Dorset and then go on to Somerset tomorrow to spend a few days with DD and the children at their weekend /holiday house. Dare I go without a raincoat? I bought a folding one for our weekend in Brussels back in June and it hasn’t been unfolded yet! (But I don’t want to tempt fate....)
Wishing you all a pleasant Sunday ???

Morning to all. Another hot day looming, clear blue skies here and warm already.
A nice day seeing family and friends and a bbq in the offing.

Good morning all from a warm but cloudy North Leicestershire.

Not much planned today but I would like to sort out the border next to the front door. But that will probably be the extent of my activity.

Enjoy your days everyone.

Morning all

Sunny start again in Kent. There is a charity event going on all weekend in a near by field so no chance of a quiet sit in the garden as we have music, laughter and shouting. Not complaining, it's all in a good cause.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, I opened the bedroom curtains to be greeted with the sight of a huge orange airballoon floating in the sky, rushed downstairs to get the camera and took a pic.
Off to meet my daughter and one of my sons and his wife for coffee bit later then i plan a quiet rest of the day as i have a full on week coming up. It looks like it's gonna be a lovely day again, sky is blue with a few fluffy couds and the temp is rising. Have a nice day everyone.

Sunday greetings from West Wales where the sun kindly shone all day yesterday after a cool start, whilst this morning it is already warm and looking good

The areas are now packed with holiday makers another new "batch" arriving yesterday. Not much spare room I guess!

The beach is certainly on the cards today for that leisurely
stroll.

Seems as though many of you have some bookings that will bring you pleasure so do enjoy!!

Good morning Mick and all the early birds.
Cool here in Glasgow. Ideal weather for the games. You can hardly move in Glasgow, there are so many visitors.
All our windows are opened and it's decidedly chilly in the house.
Up early, as the plasterer is coming back this morning. Our house stinks of dead fish (aka, wet plaster). ☹️
That's a pity about your day out Mick.☹️
Brunette, is this the Lammas Fair at At Andrew's this weekend? I always loved going to that. Happy memories with the children.?
Kate, do you fancy a house swap??
Gaga, have a lovely day with your husband.

Morning All

Bright and sunny this morning with little picturesque fluffy high clouds.

A bit stiff after too much singing and dancing (well, swaying and arm waving) at the tribute band concert last night. A short time to recover before all the family arrive mid morning. Bbq lunch. We’ve used that bbq quite a lot this summer.

Good morning.
N. Bucks is warming up and forecast is for ☀️and a little cloud.
Will walk the dogs soon before it gets too hot for them. Must book some coach tickets and finish some sewing but not much planned.

ChaosIncorporated Sun 05-Aug-18 07:35:13

That sounds like fun, NanKate.
I think my hooligans auditioned!

Brunette10 Sun 05-Aug-18 07:27:03

Morning everyone, earlier than our normal Sunday rising. We have DGS today, lots of activities going on so out early. It's a bit dull here at the moment in NE Fife and don't think it will get much better. As long as the rain stays off. Have a fun day!.

NanKate Sun 05-Aug-18 07:24:24

Are you and Gaga sitting up in bed drinking beer ? What a picture that would make. ?

Gagagran Sun 05-Aug-18 07:13:21

Morning everyone!

Bit later than usual on here as we had to have the ceremonial opening of birthday cards and gifts. DH is well chuffed with his craft beers. Not so much with his new chinos and polo shirts which I have explained (again) are NOT for doing gardening, bike maintenance or any other jobs! He doesn't get the concept of having something nice for going out!

It's sunny with a nice breeze here on the south coast and DD and family are due back from their Indonesian holiday today. Looking forward to hearing of their adventures.

Have a good day folks!

Good morning all I'm home in Lancashire, it took me 6 hours to drive from Wales. I'm not used to driving so far these days. It's too early to tell the weather forecast but looks fine at the moment. Thought you might be watching the European games this weekend Mick.
Have a good day everyone.

NanKate Sun 05-Aug-18 06:42:36

That reminds me Chaos we are going to see an outdoor performance of the Hound of the Baskerville on Friday. ?

NanKate Sun 05-Aug-18 06:40:51

Good morning Mick and All.

Sorry your day was messed up Mick.

More sunshine in the south east. I would prefer a few cooler days now and then a warm Autumn.

A last day of calm before our tranquil home is turned into a noisy, full on place when the boys arrive. ?

ChaosIncorporated Sun 05-Aug-18 06:40:43

Good morning, from the SW.
Another cool start, here, so I am off to walk the horrible hounds before the heat builds.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its another blue sky start with some cloud but little over Brackley this morning.
Yesterdays trip did not go to plan a full X5 coach from Buckingham , did not allow me a chance to do my planned trip to Bicester , so returned and went to Banbury instead.
