Eat well, not too much, most of it plants. Do that and chuck all the other constantly changing data away and forget about it.

There is a corollary to the above: 'If it is made from a plant, eat it, if it is made in a plant (factory) don't.'

Been following the above for years and remained healthy and slim doing so.

There is too much fear and too little common sense goes into peoples eating decisions.

My blood sugar is high. I've been told to beware of diabetes and watch diet. Diet advice is more veg than fruit, bananas not good. But if you haven't a problem I would think a good mix of fruit and veg every day. It is so difficult though nowadays. I started drinking decaff and now told a little caffeine is good. Butter best, then butter not good. and so on. Really I think as long as you don't eat too much of one thing. Cook fresh as much as possible. limit processed foods. limit carbs sugar salt drink water lots of it. and don't worry. worry is worse.

Whilst shopping i purchased plums, flat peaches,- i have raspberries in the garden and have just finished the homegrown strawberries and gooseberries- plus grapes apples and bananas. My question is, should we be eating all this fruit, it is so hard to resist in the shops as looks so lovely, but now i am worried about the sugar content in it all.
I have bought tomatoes, cue, spinach, red peppers, sweetheart cabbage and carrots too, not so worried about eating lots of them, its the fruit. I also eat quite a lot of broad beans, i buy the frozen ones and steam a few to have as a snack if i get peckish so that i am not always at the fruit bowl. Its all so confusing with food now adays.I bought low fat yog and spreadable butter but i am sure i read or heard that we should have the full fat ones. Help!!!!
