Good Morning Mick and everybody

I agree it would be lovely if the heat turned down a notch or two or at least if the humidity lifted. That's what spoils it for me - it's so wearing.

Trying to get chores done early to avoid the hot part of the day so the laundry is in.

Hope the day is a good one folks.

Morning All

And another wonderful, bright, sunny morning here in the north of Norfolk!

A thrush is singing its heart out in the walnut tree, the rooks are making a racket over in the woods, the jackdaws are squabbling with the blackbirds over bits of fat on the bird table, the pigeons are cooing and I can just hear the hum of car tyres on the by-pass from all those poor people travelling to work.

I would love it even more if DH wasn’t having to paint the walls and ceilings from our having the Artex skimmed last week! I wish I could give more of a hand but I can’t - and it was his idea to have so much done at once. So, I shall just have to sit hear and listen to the birds!

Morning Mick and All

Already very hot in South Bucks. 5 degrees down for me today please.

Back from a few days hols. DH found himself a Chinese drum shaped ornament which now looks very nice in the corner of our room. I found a lovely Art Deco Bakelite cat brooch and necklace to remind me of our stay. We got them at the Antiques shop regularly featured in Bargain Hunt.

Keep covered up folks.

Good morning *Mick" and everyone from a dull and breezy Glasgow.
Yesterday was spent clearing the garage, not a good idea in the heat.
We have DGD today and will spend it in the garden, getting it cleared for the builders coming on Wednesday. It's been very short notice, so I'm a bit frazzled.
Enjoy your day all.

Morning everyone another hot one I think.Shopping and ironing if I can get up the energy! Have a good Monday.

kittylester Mon 02-Jul-18 07:17:24

Morning all from North Leicestershire where it is already hot but with a little breeze which is nice. I'd welcome a short sharp shower as everywhere is so dry and dusty.

I didn't have the energy to tidy up after everyone left yesterday so I have lots to do this morning - especially putting away all the shoes from Persie's shoe shop. Who knew we had so many dusty pairs at the back of the wardrobe! shock

Morning all-we're having some bark delivered this morning which will need to be wheel barrowed from pavement to back of garden. . . . so we're giving keep fit a miss! Do hope it comes early.
A shower overnight would be lovely

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Same old weather in South Yorkshire. Today is our fifty second wedding anniversary! He is a glutton for punishment, that one!? I am blessed. Have a good day folks!

Good Afternoon Mick and Everyone;
We've now had two cloudless sunny days on the trot; 2C to 14C each day. How good is that? Talk about the sun shining on the righteous! grin More to come, believe it or not.!
I was about to stop issuing weather reports because they were becoming doom and gloom, cold and wet and detracting you all from enjoying your marvellous summer. Enjoy while you can. smile

Morning everyone.....

from sunny Kent. Bed stripped and laundry on. Not sure what else we're doing today.
Mick I'm pretty sure the weather will break on or just before 24th July. As it's when school holidays start !

Good morning all from a lovely sunny Leamington Spa. We had a lovely family BBQ yesterday with my aunt and uncle who are over from Australia, lots of catching up.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. We had a big fire on grassland just round the corner yesterday, it's so dry. Carol Kirkwood has forecast a dry Wimbledon.
Walking Netball this morning in an Air conditioned sports hall followed by recovery in the shady part of the garden.
Happy Anniversary to the Greydusters

cornergran Mon 02-Jul-18 08:08:06

Morning All. Cloud over our corner of Somerset, feels humid, no sign of rain which our garden would welcome. Have heaps of sorting to do, hope to finish this morning. Many congratulations greyd and MrGreyd. Stay cool everyone.

ginny Mon 02-Jul-18 08:09:14

Good morning ! The sun has its hat on again today, hurrah ! Not too much to do so a nice quiet day pottering around.

MawBroon Mon 02-Jul-18 08:09:27

Good morning all - this is of course why other nationalities wonder why we Brits talk about the weather so much!
They get 4 seasons in the year - we can get all 4 in one day!

Another glorious morning, off to what promises to be a very memorable lunch party with fantastic food and fascinating guests. Just dithering- the new white linen shirt with blue and yellow flowers with blue linen trousers or the hot pink shirt with white trousers? Decisions, decisions!
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

MawBroon Mon 02-Jul-18 08:10:55

Alygran Mon 02-Jul-18 08:15:56

Morning all and congratulations to Greyd and Mr Greyd.
Another bright and sunny day in North Yorkshire. May go for a short walk before it gets too hot, then some work at the Carers Centre later.
Hope you all have a good day.

`Morning one and all............certainly an early lot of risers.

Looks as though week no two is heading for the same heat as the previous one, however we had some grey cloud and a few DROPS of rain yesterday!

Another productive viewing, although we do not think they are ready for offering just yet.

Must wish Mr & Mrs Greyduster a happy 52nd wedding anniversary...........hope it brings back happy memories..........our Golden one at Christmas!!

What about the latter ensemble Maw......my kind of dresser I have to say!!

Have a lovely day and lets hope we have pleasant heat and not scorching again.
