It's another sunny morning here on the south coast and I think we are promised it will be even warmer. No humidity though so it's very pleasant.

I must get the car washed today to remove the fine sand and muck from the building site across the road which blows across. It's been so dry the site is as dry as our gardens.

There is a lovely breeze this morning in north Leicestershire with some cloud cover but the forecast is for a warm day again.

Supermarket shopping in preparation for DGD's visit tomorrow. Do all two year olds drink gallons of milk?
Tired after my day out in Glasgow yesterday. We had a lovely Italian meal of herb crusted salmon , it was absolutely delicious, so I think I make have a go at replicating the dish.

Good morning everybody from a grey and overcast corner of N Bucks ? But the forecast is for more heat and sun I believe.
Trying to love my brown front lawn or do I put the sprinkler on it? The back garden with more trees and shade is still OK despite a few yellow patches thanks to Hattie .
Mustn’t grumble though and I wish you all a pleasant day.

Lovely day here on Dorset coast also I gather back in Sussex? got a GP appointment first thing then will entice ex husband out for late breakfast ?

Grey start here again the north of Norfolk but hopefully it’ll burn off as quickly as it did yesterday. We now have two nice smooth dark pink ceilings, but they’re both drying off nicely and should be ready to paint by Friday. We’re so pleased with them the plasterer is returning Friday to do the kitchen and back lobby. Quite a bit of decorating in store!

We too have some cloud in Kent but the forecast says it will roll back to the sea and it will turn into another glorious day.
No plans except to chauffeur H to gardening job.

Morning all, another beautiful day here in Oxfordshire, clear blue skies. Taking DD1 to the station later so I might pop into the new shops that have sprung up since I was ill and have a potter around.

Off for 4 nights to stay in a little riverside log cabin where breakfast will be brought to us each day, yummie. I have been planning this break for some time to mark the date I met DH 50 years ago tomorrow. However my idea of self tanning my arms and legs so that I don’t look to pale has slightly gone awry?

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Shrouded in mist this morning! It was very warm when we went to bed but cooler during the night. I am meeting DD in town this morning for shopping and lunch. Welcome Brunette. I hope the sea haar lifts! We were in the East Neuk a few weeks ago and it only lifted when were returning back to Glasgow, where it had been scorching.?

Good morning, foggy again in the NE. The sun did come out yesterday but the fog returned with the incoming tide.
No plans for today, pain prevents me from doing any activity.

A mixed bag of early morning weather and I wish I could say we had just a break from the heat! But no another corker.
Obviously not agreeing with me so our day out at a Garden Fete cancelled.... though I hope to make my hair do .....my need is great!

Jobs to do for craft club this morning and scones to bake for afternoon tea at same this afternoon.

Good morning from an overcast Colchester. Carol Kirkwood has just said that the cloud will burn back to the coast, so we are in for another scorcher.
Our lawn is hay!
Weekly Wednesday meetup followed by an Aldi shop today.

Marydoll I have slightly spoiled the romantic aura as I have packed Deep Heat for my achy bits, I suspect the smell of menthol could over power any perfume !
