Good Morning Everyone,
Its looking like another hot balmy day here in brackley , but usual day out will have as much water as it is possible to drink with me.
Mick

Good Morning *Mick and everyone!

I've been waiting for you to open up Mickas I am awake before 5am these bright sunny mornings. I do actually like the peace and quiet of very early mornings before the world gets going again.

The warm, sunny weather continues here on the south coast. We could do with some rain in the garden but none in sight yet.

I am out and about running errands this morning including a taxi booking for DGD.

Enjoy your days folks! sunshine

MawBroon Tue 26-Jun-18 06:28:42

Good morning Mick and all to come.
This is a bit of a novelty having the same weather ??? to report from my corner of N Bucks yet again! Never mind, there have been times when we felt summer would never come so I won’t complain.
I found it hard to do anything yesterday what with hay fever and the heat so I have no firm plans for today.
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

MawBroon Tue 26-Jun-18 06:29:21

Took so long I missed you Gagagran - Good Morning!

Oopsadaisy53 Tue 26-Jun-18 06:33:44

Good morning Mick, it looks like another beautiful day here as well, although like Maw I am dosed up with Hay Fever remedies, but, mustn’t grumble !
I have the dog later today, but it will be too hot to take her very far, so another day in the garden , under an umbrella with a good book ( kindle actually) and plenty of water, throwing sticks.
Have a lovely day everybody

Morning mick, gaga, * maw* and anyone else posting while I’m writing. Same here, brights sunny start to the day. Awake since 3 so heard the dawn chorus and saw the sun rise. Hair cut and cleaning today before Granny detail. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone, mick is right, lots of water needed plus plenty of sun screen. Unusual though it is grin.

cornergran Tue 26-Jun-18 06:35:59

Knew I’d miss someone. Morning oopsadaisy.

Oopsadaisy53 Tue 26-Jun-18 06:48:04

I expect you didn’t see me cornergran covered in sunscreen, sunglasses on , under my umbrella.......⛱☀️

Good morning Mick and all those fellow early risers . Restless night, last night and I too am doped up with antihistamines.
I am recovering from my day at the beach yesterday, with a two year old who kept running away to the water. I gave up and went in paddling with her and couldn't believe how warm the water was. She had an absolute ball!
Does the phrase "beached whale", mean anything to you? grin. I realised that the only way to fill DGD's watering can was to bend down. I lost my balance and disaster followed. I was wetter than DGD.
Off out to lunch with DH, that is if I can summon up the energy to watch my hair.
Have a good day all.

Morning all!

North Leicestershire is bright and sunny this morning with a little cooling breeze.

We are off to Sports day fir Bertie and Persie this afternoon. Bertie had the day off school to recover from his hospital stays over the weekend and his Ma would rather he didn't do anything energetic today but that is a vain hope! He is a good runner and often wins his races. Persie, on the other hand is likely to stop and pick daisies along the way!

jacq10 Tue 26-Jun-18 07:04:39

Thank you *Marydoll" - it's the first time in a long while I have laughed this time of the morning. It's also the first time I have logged in here but will be continuing to do so. I rise early to have a bit of time to myself as my day is filled looking after DH and then my grandson after school. Thank you again.

jacq10 Tue 26-Jun-18 07:06:21

Will need to wait till my first cup of coffee takes effect before the fingers are working properly!!!

Greyduster Tue 26-Jun-18 07:10:56

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Wall to wall☀️☀️ again today. It seems churlish to say I wish we had a bit of rain in the mix. We are supposed to be going out walking but if it’s going to be like yesterday I will just want to flop in a chair! Have a good day, folks!

Greyduster Tue 26-Jun-18 07:13:43

Hope it goes well for Bertie today, Kitty. And if they have a one hundred metres daisy picking, for Persie too ?!

NanKate Tue 26-Jun-18 07:23:08

Good Morning Mick and All the Usuals, plus Jacq10 a welcome newcomer, you will find us a friendly crowd on here.

Hot and sunny in South Bucks, all the windows open and some of the curtains closed, I like to see/feel them flapping in the breeze.

Hope the Sports Day goes well Kitty. All I can remember from my childhood sports days were the lovely iced buns and orange squash afterwards.

Packing and ironing before a short hols tomorrow.

BlueBelle Tue 26-Jun-18 07:29:39

Morning all have a great day

ninathenana Tue 26-Jun-18 07:31:00

Good morning all GNers and good morning world smile

Amazing how the sunshine can cheer you up and give the feel good factor.
Sympathies with the HF sufferers. DS can suffer really badly but apart from the odd sneeze he's ok at the moment.
Food shop this morning but not a lot else planned.
?? go Bertie and Persie !

Marydoll Tue 26-Jun-18 07:34:51

Welcome jacq10, I look forward to seeing you on this thread and others.

NfkDumpling Tue 26-Jun-18 07:45:11

Morning All

I feel for you poor things suffering under that glaring sun and relentless heat. Come to the north of Norfolk where we’re relaxing under the cover of a sea mist! Actually it’s not bad. The temperature hasn’t plummeted the way it usually does, quite pleasant in fact.

A good thing for our plasterer who will hopefully arrive any minute to skim the Artex ceilings in our little front room - and the hall and stairs. Then DH will redecorate. Shamefully the marks from where the pictures are on the walls looks like a neglected room in a film set. We knew it needed doing!

Auntieflo Tue 26-Jun-18 07:49:01

Morning all you early risers. I think I have hay fever for the first time in my life, so commiserations to all sufferers. Has anyone else noticed the later and earlier flights these summer days, or is it just because every window is open?

Yiayia4 Tue 26-Jun-18 07:53:25

Morning all a very bright and sunny start here. Many thanks for your kind wishes for my DS Panache and Marydoll, his op went well now home with his family to recover. Not doing a lot today, aching a bit! so quiet day planned.
Enjoy the sunshine everyone.

wildswan16 Tue 26-Jun-18 07:58:57

Good morning all, quite overcast here just now but the forecast promises better later.

Pittcity Tue 26-Jun-18 07:59:51

Good morning all from sunny Colchester.
I am another one keeping the anti histamine companies in business!
Not sure what today will bring but hope it is not as strenuous as yesterday, didn't know it was possible to sweat so much!

harrigran Tue 26-Jun-18 08:06:52

Good morning, it is foggy here in the NE. Fairly typical, you get one or two sunny days then the sea mist rolls in.
GD1 had her sports day on Friday and she did quite well with the javelin hmm I asked GD2 what she would be participati g in and she said " everything" that's my girl.

gillybob Tue 26-Jun-18 08:08:55

A rather late good morning from me .

Have a good Tuesday everyone x
