Good Evening everyone.
Very chilly again this morning, 3C before getting to a high of 12C smile Fine sunny day, no wind, no rain.
Dear Diary;
Arose as usual at 7.30a.m. after another late night watching OZ v the Danes. All these cards are spoiling it for me, but "thems the rules"! Went supermarket shopping and now that they've banned plastic bags it's very amusing to watch shoppers who won't invest 99cents in a reusable canvas bag, staggering out balancing an armful of groceries. Dear oh dear! sad
Not so busy today; daylight hours were one minute longer today, but I was too bleary - eyed to notice after last nights game. Must watch Brazil tonight. Just broke of to see Michael Portillo on the train from York to Fritzinghall; lovely programmes.

It's been very warm here in Nottingham.

I had a busy day, at work - I'm the Manager of a day centre for elderly people. They all had fish and chips from the chip shop, as the cook was not there today. They had Cornettos to follow, then a raffle, and then a singer/guitarist came to entertain them for an hour. After that, tea and cakes. They all went home happy.

I got stuck in traffic, due to a car crash. Instead of 20 minutes to get home, it took me 1 hour and 15 minutes! I pity the poor person who was in the crash, obviously.

I got in to find a letter from HMRC, saying I've paid £391 too much tax, so I'll get a refund. Happy days. Now for a chicken salad and a glass or 3 of wine!
