Apart from health and happiness for my loved ones, my 3 wishes would be: * To become a grandmother * To move to the seaside/countryside * To be a size 14 again
To have my beloved late Grandson back More resources available to help the NHS with children's rare diseases A cure for dementia Better health for my husband's problems A cure for arthritis Win some cash to help members of my family
I'm going to have another go but lighter! To lose two stone by next week. To be able to do Pilates without farting. To be able to dance without looking like an idiot
For my beautiful courageous grandson to be free of his type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. For my mum to be stronger and free of pain. And me to be able to hear again without this awful tinnitus .
On a larger scale? Health: For all my family and friends.Mental, Physical & Spiritual Wealth: For all of the above to have enough money to live in a decent sized house, have at least one holiday a year and never worry about paying bills and earning a good wage. Happiness: Hopefully all the above would sort that - but for them all to be in happy loving relationships and have jobs they enjoy!
Smaller Scale: Good Sized lottery win so we never have to worry about money and can buy a house big enough to host family get togethers To be slimmer and fitter! To regain my thinning hair!
So many sad and poignant wishes here, and I find it hard to choose just three.
So my 3 serious wishes would be: 1. The opportunity to meet my natural mother who died when I was born. 2. To spend one day with my Father (I never lived with him) just to be able to tell him I loved him. 3. That my DH will never suffer serious illness, crippling pain, harm or confusion.
My 3 frivolous wishes would be: 1. To be able to fit into some of the lovely unworn clothes in my wardrobe 2. To be able to ride a bike 3. To be a better and more enthusiastic cook
To have my husband back to life with perfect health with perfect hair, teeth, bodies. No war, invasions, overpopulation, poverty or religious intolerance. A big enough lotto win so we could have our own smallholding by the sea.
Exactly Lucky four. I have found many responses so sad and it makes me count my blessings.
However, assuming World Peace and health and happiness for all (esp GC) are a given here is my attempt:
1. For DD to be able to afford a house with a garden 2. For her baby to be delivered safely 3. For DH and I to live for many years together.
Or more frivolously: 1. To be able to afford a housekeeper cook and gardener! (Or is that 3?) 2. To travel to many parts of the world such as India, Japan, S America. (Again really more than one wish.) 3. To be able to play a musical instrument in an orchestra really well.
Feel very fortunate to find it difficult to make three wishes. I have pretty much all I want and need. I'm not rich but have enough, I'm not beautiful but not too ugly, I'm quite slim, and I have a husband, daughters and grandchildren I love and love me. Not trying to show off but feel very thankful.
To have my lovely husband back but, without his PD. Does that count as two wishes? For my daughter to be without fibromyalgia For my son-in-law to be free of his mental health problems
1. For daughter to be rid of her fibromyalgia 2. For son-in-law to be rid of his depression 3. To have my lovely husband back but, without his PD (Does that count as two wishes?)
Be grateful for all the good things I have, Don't look too far into the future and worry about it. See my grandchildren growing up to be healthy confident adults.
