Not something I hear too often these days

Hattie loved seeing so many people (and dogs) but reserved her main interest for the ducks on the lake and the banks. Who needs an electric hare when there is literally a “sitting duck!”
At first she wouldn’t lie down and I was relieved when she finally flopped onto some grass in the shade to rest her eyes.
I got a plastic pint glass and a bottle of water to refill it -the long pointy nose made it easy to drink out of!
But she is a character and as we were leaving one of the security/attendants called out”bye bye Hattie, see you next year!”

I bet the Chatsworth Flower Show was wonderful?
Did Hattie not mind the crowds?
Men would probably be arrested for making that comment these days to an actual woman.grin

Come on Maw..........don`t be coy...........it may well have been for you, but the main thing is it must have made you smile and that in itself is a thing of beauty.

Mind you I am sure your Hattie is obviously also beautiful!!

Thanks for the smiles.......smile smile

Well, actually at all. In the wonderful orchid display at Chatsworth Flower Show yesterday a male voice from behind me said “Hello, beautiful!”
??
Not me, Hattie grin !
He seemed to take it in good part when I laughed and said it wasn’t something I heard much these days!
