Birthday treat ideas for DD?

We already have the older DGD overnight but the younger one doesn’t sleep much! So our DD is reluctant to impose that on us, but we have offered.

I’m trying to stick to presents for DD, not the house because we already help out with house things and I would prefer this to be a personal present.

If DD can get a babysitter, how about an acupuncturist session for both of you together, followed by a nice coffee somewhere?

In a similar vein to Falmers suggestion, perhaps a beauty treatment/spa day, or a manicure/pedicure.
Beauty products are always nice - luxury bath/shower toiletries, face creams, etc.

Facial or Aromatherapy massage while you babysit? Or if you can run to it, a Spa Day (again with you babysitting)

There are several companies now who send gift box of latest's beauty items monthly for a subscription. This would give her a monthly treat.

What a lovely idea. How about a cinema voucher/ Waitrose voucher or a Fortnum and Mason hamper (you could make one up with luxury foods.)

A magazine subscription? I was given one last year and it was an original and much appreciated gift.

Many years ago (pre-internet, post-divorce) my son (then 12 or so) got my mum to help him buy me some kind of a relaxing spa treatment. I don't even remember what the treatment was, but I do remember the kindness.

Theatre tickets and babysitting promise, gift voucher for flying lesson in small plane! She probably has babybrain and this might be a fun change. Offer to cook a nice meal for her and husband when kids in bed and serve and go?

Does she have any type of craft hobby - perhaps something along those lines? Tickets to a concert or a meal or take her shopping to buy something new to wear?

Lovely idea, I love getting presents like this as they are so thoughtful and personal. What about adding a bunch of flowers as well, it doesn't have to be a large expensive one.

Lush do lovely gift packs that smell divine,with bath bombs,lotions,etc..If she enjoys reading,how about a set of books in a genre she likes?

A Spa Day is so nice and if you have small children often something that you can't afford to treat yourself to. If she likes to do things with her children what about a family pass for a zoo, Sealife Centre or theme park. When my children were small I loved taking them and made some fantastic memories. A nice photo album/frame. Clothes; a new robe or lingerie is always nice.

My dd loves Dove products so we are making her a new wash bag with mini Dove products for taking into hospital with her when she has her new baby in August.

If she likes fresh flowers I once had a lovely present from SIL (who knows how to please his MIL!) of 6x monthly bouquets delivered by Bloom and Wild. They come in a flat box which actually fits through your letter box but are beautiful.

Lush bath bombs! X

I've started, Lush bath bombs are on there, as is some pink gin, some clothes I think she will like, some Benefit makeup, face masks and other bits.

I had thought about cinema or theatre vouchers but she would use them to take all of them out as a family!

I avoided chocolates as she is trying to lose weight.

As for a spa day we're having a family holiday to Center Parcs soon and we've booked for a spa afternoon/morning then.

Offer to babysit while she does an evening class, or day class? I did pottery when I had toddlers. Banging the clay was good for relieving temper . Or something like yoga or tai chi or anything she'd like? Wine-tasting, a language?
