Creeping Rugs

Anyone got any ideas on how to stop rugs on top of carpets from going walkies? They drive me nuts.

I have 2 runners with rubber backings and when on hard floors they are fine but they creep daily when on my carpets.

I have used all sorts of felt style mats to stop this but all they do is cling to the carpet and allow the runners to run..

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Yes, I know Meno...... your ginger wig does slip sideways at times, but I hadn’t liked to mention it ( until now) grin
