Any advice on how to remove a stain from a mattress?
It's black coffee and I could scrub it with biological detergent but of course cannot rinse the soap out. Would that matter I'd I kept going over it with damp cloth ?
Any answers? Thanks.

Have you got any stain remover like Vanish - you could try spraying a solution of that on and drying it with a hairdryer. Or just turn the mattress smile

Vanish Carpet Care got a doggy urine stain out of my mattress. It's brilliant stuff, when the treated area was dry I gave it a bit of a vacuum. Here it is, excuse the duck clothes brush.??

I have a duck brush exactly the same as yours!! ? Never seen another one, had it for donkeys years! Bought it at my sons Scout jumble sale!
But I digress, thanks for the tip, both of you, as Vanish is clearly the way to go.
Yes I could turn the mattress over, that's what my son did, so the stain wasn't discovered for quite a while.....Hmmm

When we were on holiday in Devon last summer we visited Coleton Fishacre a jazz age national trust property. There was a duck clothes brush on display in one of the rooms. It was the only time I've ever seen another one!
