Is it a bit sad of me to start yet another silly game, but in the midst of debating the merits of Chardonnay over Wayne for the new Cambridge baby, I got to wondering whether there is indeed a (real) “Royal” name for each letter of the alphabet?
How about TWO per post, one boy and one girl?
If I may, I’ll start
Adelaide (granddaughter of George III and mother of Queen Mary)
Arthur (he of the Round Table, also there was one who was a son of Queen Victoria, the Duke of Connaught)

Thank you! Though I've just read the OP properly and I've messed up on the others (it's supposed to be one male, one female). Oops.

Oh, I'm sorry, that sounds so disrespectful to any Christians taking part. blush I just got over-excited when I thought of a name.

Maggiemaybe Thu 12-Apr-18 13:49:01

Oh, and Zeus, the biggest king of kings!

Hi Gilly, yes of course she is family. I was just going with Mawbroons' post, at 9. 04, as she admitted she is being rather picky. smile

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Apr-18 13:41:55

They are probably pronounced 'Z' so can we count them both as X and Z?

Maggiemaybe Thu 12-Apr-18 13:40:39

Sorry for the delay, but I've found another X to go with Xerxes. Yes, I had to google it. blush

Ximen, another king of Persia.
