Are you any good at keeping secrets?

I will always keep a secret, secret. I was recently told a family secret about someone's ill health. I kept completely stumm. Until 2 months later a cousin rang me to say 'Did you know....?' It seems some one else in the family found out and didn't realise that the patient didn't want the news spread!

I never break a confidence - it has happened to me in the past and I know how much it can hurt. A friend told me something in confidence once and after a few weeks she spoke to my DH about it - she was surprised that I hadn't even shared the secret with him!

I never do, usually only to find that the person who told me has also told countless other people too! I never share my feeling either.

I never break confidences. I know what betrayal feels like.

I would never break a confidence told to me, not under any circumstances, and not to anyone. Even, as happened on one recent occasion, when someone else asked me if I knew about ********, I just played dumb. Not my secret to tell.

I never tell secrets or break confidences. But then I rarely share my own feelings either so it’s not hard.
