Abortion Time Limit

No from me too. I wonder if the OP has any compassion at all for women who have to make the grim choice between aborting a longed-for child, and giving birth to a child with severe disabilities.

I notice too that the OPs username is very similar to at least one other GNer who sometimes posts.
I wish GN would have a system of not approving very similar usernames. It’s not fair on the person who thought of it first, particularly when a controversial thread is started in the new name.

What's your justification for the 10 week limit?

I didn't even know I was pregnant with DS until I was 11 wks.
This seems far too early too me. I agree with what Maw says.

I would imagine much support at all. 10 weeks sounds to me like the point at which only an unwanted pregnancy could be the deciding factor, unlike following a 12 week scan or the 20 week “abnormality” scan cut offs.
I do t see what it would achieve.

I don't think you would get enough support, too big a change. If you tried to 20 weeks I think you would get a lot more support. These things are probably better done in smaller steps.
