Trip to NY

I’m sure that you’ll find somewhere to smoke when you’re there because smokers are a resilient and sociable bunch as I’m sure you know (and I remember)!

I had hoped to take my GD's to New York for their 21st and 18th birthdays (and my 70th).
I enjoyed my visit 15 years ago but we've decided to postpone our visit until Trump's gone!

You can take liquids on transatlantic flights. They have to be in containers of <100ml and all the containers have to be in a clear, reclosable bag which you present to security.
OP if you get tired of the noise and bustle, you could take a trip to the High Line in Manhattan, an elevated linear park occupying an old railway line. It’s an oasis of green calm and you get a unique view of the city.

Treat yourselves to breakfast at one of the Sarabeth's restaurants, not the cheapest but excellent quality and service. Wrap up warm and love every minute.

I enjoyed NY pre-Trump and will again post-Trump!

I kicked the smoking habit because I wanted to become pregnant, but I appreciate that's probably not a practical solution for the OP!
