Oh, thank you! I thought this thread would be... well, not that.

I have lost one daughter and now trying to cope with the other, having been in intermittent only contact for years, now not having got back to me at all over Xmas. I sent her something, I don't know why she hasn't answered.
I am worried about her.

So today is not a good day. My sister has done her best and sent me a 'Big sister' card for mothers day, and I will see my littlest grandson (3) tomorrow (hopefully) and he has made me a Grandma card.... this helps him at nursery, since he lost his mum.

And those whose mothers died too young, and those who have never had children but would have liked to.

BBC Breakfast this morning was good on this.
