No more jeans ????

I'd forgotten the boyfriend jeans, lemongrove. There aren't any nanna ones though, are there (and would we buy them if there were? )?

I've recently bought Landsend jeans and am very pleased with them. They come in many leg lengths. They're expensive but I've never paid full price as I buy in sales and special offers.

I've also heard that Sainsbury's jeans are good. I've got some of their summery trousers and like those so will give their jeans a whirl next time.

I'm stunned by Oldmeg's passive aggressive response. I don't see anywhere that the OP was asking for advice about her body size.

It's so annoying when things are discontinued, isn't it? I backed slowly out of the M & S jeggings department recently when I fancied a new pair, because there were just way too many different styles and I couldn't work out which ones were the ones that fitted me perfectly! They used to have one option (jeggings!), and now they've got skinny, straight, relaxed slim, super skinny, slim, slim bootcut, widefit and mom (mom? what the heck's that about?). It's a good job I've got a few pairs to go at already.

I've bought M & S Per Una, Roma jeans, standard length, for years and years. They fitted on the waist and are the perfect length. Last autumn I tried to get another pair but they seemed to have stopped doing those too. The denim they have now is full of elastane, very lightweight and a rubbish quality and fit. They also smell of rubber . Having tried on many many pairs, I finally gave up and went to Sainsbury's. Their Tu range were very much better quality, half the price and fitted well.

Try Bon Marche and Cotton Traders. Wide range of sizes on line if not in the store. You can check the quality and style in store and then order the size for you. Don’t give up on jeans - just give up on M&S.

Have you tried Sainsbury's ruthiek. I buy my jeggings from them. I'm 5' 3" and their regular length fits me perfectly. I'm assuming that the jeans will be the same although I've never tried them.

Have you tried the M & S Classic jeans ? I am also 5'2" and they are comfy and flattering .

Try other stores ruth I have some nice jeans from Debenhams, and they do shorter leg lengths there too.?

Without wishing to upset ruthiek wouldn’t life be easier, at least on the jean-hunting issue, if you could squeeze into a size 14. Think how good that would feel.
