old fashioned words.

reading the posts about cavorting reminded me of another old word you dont hear much these days, ~~cleave~~ aparently there are two meanings. One is to split, say a log with an axe, the other is to stick like glue.People used the words years ago to talk about husband and wife.Anyone else got an old word not used much??

My mum used the expression you little madam too.

My nan would call us girls when being difficult, Fanny Fanackapan!!!!!

I still use fanny fanackapan when I can't remember someone's name.
