Emergency services

I'm always reluctant to criticise because we don't know what information was given in the 999 call that led to the emergency service response. We ask don't know anything about the information the police had about previous incidents involving the adults concerned.
I wouldn't want to charge the people involved because the last thing those involved in domestic abuse of any kind, need, is fear they'll be sent a huge bill if they're "proved to be to blame"

Teetime It does sound excessive but maybe the people concerned where very violent and needed to be dealt with by separate teams of officers same applies I would think for the ambulance presence to keep them separated.
On ocassions like this I think the cost should be paid for by the persons concerned if proved they are to blame.
