From mother to grandmother

No I don't feel broody, family are too old now for any additions, we will just carry on loving the ones we have.
My sister was only twelve when I had my first baby and she was always with me, felt like my own child.

Have to say I’m not a ‘baby person’ and am enjoying the grandchildren even more as they grow up. Loving a girls day out shopping with the granddaughters especially.

If you feel broody get a puppy!

I am very maternal and am enjoying being a Nana to a 10 month old and several older GC . I can`t say I have been broody but as soon as they are here love looking after them . Humberbear , my 9 yr old GS is the one who likes cuddles the most x

I’d love another grandchild. The youngest one is 6 and we only see her and her brother after school once a week. We see the 12 year Old rarely now she is at secondary school. I miss the afternoons cuddled up on the armchair reading books and the cooking sessions and the cuddles. 9 year old boys these days don’t cuddle like their daddy did!

Never been broody either

I'm afraid I've never been broody. I love kittens though.

my son was 13 when his sister had her first baby so I'm much the same as you ,still looking after GC though the youngest is now 7 .Thats 40 years continuous childcare ,I went part time and job shared with my daughter when she went back to work after just a few weeks and had my first GD since she was two weeks old,walking down to the office for her breasfeeds.Number 3 GC I've had half of every week since she was just over a year when her parents split and now its all four for at least 3 days a week .I love having them ,they are brilliant kids ,this week we've been making christmas cakes as teacher presents ..they have loved decorating them and making the edible decorations .I dont THINK there will be another any time soon but I expect my son and his new partner will have at least one when they are ready...and I'll be here waiting to help with the care .

I did a couple of years ago but I have gained one new granddaughter and 3 great grandchildren in 2 yrs which made me very happy. I'm pretty sure there will be more great grandchildren in the next few years I will be 70 next year so hopefully I will be around for a while yet to see them safely born.

Absolutely not. I don't want to be great grandma but of course if my granddaughter and her husband want to start a family I will be delighted for them.
I am not a big fan of babies and not really maternal.
