What a brilliant idea! I'm very impressed with the Co-op for announcing a scheme to sell "Best Before" goods for a nominal 10p, it will help loads of people and stop waste of perfectly good food. The scheme applies mainly to tinned goods and dried goods e.g. pasta.

The article says that £13billion worth of edible food is thrown out in Britain. That's just wrong. So this is a wonderful initiative. Go, Co-op!
