That's it, it will now be stews, casseroles, pies etc on Sundays until we have our Christmas dinner.
I try to do it every year, so that the Christmas meal feels a bit more special, rather than just another roast with a few extras.
Does anyone else do this, or is it just me? (Mr P has had a slight pout, but he'll live 
) I do mollify him a little by occasionally doing roast potatoes with the casseroles.
