Hope someone will shine a light on this. I'm 66, still working full time at a job I love. But, I'm aware I will not live forever, and wondering if I should leave and do other stuff. A complicating factor is that my husband is 11 years younger, so no chance of him joining me in new activities. Views please? thank you.

Yes Net ff, as OPs have said don't "jump off the cliff edge" if you can avoid it. You're doing the right thing going part time to start with. I gradually reduced hours so that, in the end, work was "in the way" and I was glad to finish. Now so much to do-or not do as inclined-and so little time. It's a treat not having to rush out of the house esp these cold dark mornings.
