Sad to hear about the death of Rodney Bewes. Loved "The Likely Lads". Really funny though I must admit to liking James Bolam most. He had the funniest lines and the sexy, dry manner.
It is a terrible shame that they weren't on speaking terms for the last forty years. I think James Bolam had the more successful career after The Likely Lads while Rodney Bewes wanted to continue making money out of TLL. Bolam felt that was in the past and wanted to focus on his new projects. I can understand that, but not to forgive someone (for revealing Bolam's wife's pregnancy) for decades?
Has anyone else noticed their energy levels change as they've got older?
