Thank you all for the "pearls". Fear not that I intend to fully enjoy as I want to make the most of the present of time, with a healthy, loving H and D well on the way finishing Uni.....with benefit of the real payback of a very healthy Pension (i've earned it) and a 60+ Oyster...want to selfishly think of me and how i write my nxt chapter. Health is obviously No 1 from all of you but loving the freedom to address this....to fulfil my potential. Bring it on.

Do the things you want to do - travel, study, join a gym, go out more, meet friends, make time for yourself.

Be kind to everyone, especially yourself. Keep yourself in good shape, be happy, because being miserable won't help.

Look after your health should be your primary concern.

You cannot do any of the other things people have mentioned if you have poor health.

Yes, all of the above, but even better, don’t treat 60 ( or 70) as special in any way, just carry on with life and doing the things you enjoy doing ( given half a chance!)

All of the above, be happy, help people where you can wine

Remember 60 is the new 40 - it's a time to enjoy yourself and stop worrying about age.

All those things mentioned Lizhand! Enjoy your special birthday - wish I was 60 again;

Make sure you keep up with friends, make the effort!

Stop worrying about it and get on with life.

To appreciate good health whilst you have it.

To say No if you don’t want to do something.

To eat less and move more.

To discard people who drain you and nurture friends who are there for you.

Have fun.

That you are never so young as you are today.
Be happy you arent looking 70 in the face!
And yes, take care of your health

Enjoy your special birthday.

Totally agree,Tanith. I so wish I had not let the weight creep on and that I had started Pilates earlier. Try to keep your figure. If I had done that I would have avoided sciatica and type 2 diabetes.
Also look after your teeth. That saves a fortune.

Take care of your health would be one I'd choose.

Seeking the wisdom of hindsight and experience what would you recommend as a key "life" resolution as I face the magic 60 at the turn of the year.
