What Christmas present to buy for daughter?

Thanks for your all suggestions, I think the spa/beauty treatment gets my vote! Being a pampered stay at home mum of three she often takes herself off to the local beauty parlour! Babysitting I do regularly, she pays me in wine and, I get to stay over in the granny wing and spend time with the little ones. lol thanks.

I agree with you Teetime, no matter what they have/own its still nice to have a present to open. My daughter has her own charities she supports and I have mine. She used to have a reciprocal arrangement with her uncle whereby they would both just donate to a charity of their own choice. Sadly he died early in the year so we will both donate to one of his in his memory. But yes there are loads of things you can get even for the person who has ''everything''.

I'd go for a spa treatment or voucher for a fancy restaurant. I wouldn't do the charity thing unless that person has a specific cause that they support. Both my DDs have everything they need but both still like to have a present to unwrap - DD2 has her favourite perfume this year with shower gel etc etc and I always send her flowers for Christmas Eve. DD1 will get a voucher for her favourite restaurant or case of prosecco.

How about a spa treatment. Always goes down well.

I make my girls and their DHs an album of photos from the year gone by, including the previous Christmas - they truly treasure them.

I take mental notes throughout the year about things mine would like ,this year she's having a painting she likes a hurricane lantern style lamp ,some toiletries and a small piece of jewellery .Might add some chocolates and liquer to her list .If you think a charity is the thing to do try Mary's meals you can feed a child for a whole year for under £20 and over 90% of all funds go directly to the children

I know it’s been said before but vouchers? Eg Amazon or for Theatre or Cinema? I saw some in Debenhams that were a package for dinner and the Cinema. Flowers once a month? One of my most successful presents to my son and his wife , who sound similar to your family, was a voucher for a wine tasting to be held at their home, oh, and one year I bought them a day at a spa. My most successful present ever was for my husband And it was the chance to play the organ in Gloucester Cathedral when it was closed to the public. Look at Virgin Red Letter Days. I know quite a few people who have enjoyed Falconry Days because it is something different.
