I assumed it was a slip of the finger and you really would have liked an edit button to correct it but as there wasn't one you decided to keep quiet as the thread probably wouldn't run for that long anyway as most people apparently weren't that upset by the sausage roll anyway. Apparently.

I just wanted to mention that my misplaced apostrophe in the thread title has been niggling me since I posted the OP! (Wish we had an edit button!)

May I thank all contributors for not mentioning it. We have nearly 1000 posts and not one apostrophe pedant has pulled me up.* That in itself is a GN miracle!

My DGC loved the scene in the prison kitchen (making marmalade) when the oranges fell on him !

True enough jalima he did. And he improved the kitchen menus enormously whilst he was in prison too. Although I don't remember him baking sausage rolls?

The DGC had seen it already so himself and I went.

Brilliant film Jalima, I really enjoyed it too. Our cinema was packed to capacity too but seemed to be mainly children and their grandparents as were we. Wouldn't mind seeing it again.
