willow Amazon do sell these coffee makers for induction hobs as I found them when I was thinking of buying. Try an Amazon search for "coffee percolator induction"

The orange juice is in a very similar container to the milk (first thing in a morning without my glasses on) coffee with added OJ is not recommended.

Willow500 I use a Cona which is made of glass and works beautifully on my gas hob on a very low heat. Don’t think there is an equivalent for induction hobs. sad

Put my cereal in the dog bowl the other morning?

Those coffee pots are great Willow they brew the best coffee I have tasted.

Lol. My son is coming next month and he uses one of those very old coffee percolator things that you put on the stove and it comes up from the bottom - when we were face timing the other week it looks so battered I commented on it but he said it's the only way to make coffee. He'll be disappointed at my Tassimo then grin I have an induction hob so cant find one of his sort that works on it!

My H's method for an instant coffee for me.
Put kettle on, reach for small mug on kitchen windowsill into which I have poured surplus chicken fat the night before.
Add coffee , hot water and milk and bring to me while I am working.
Express complete surprise when I splutter and spit it all over my papers.

We all have moment like that. Make coffee for DH, make Bovril for me. Put milk in both coffee and Bovril (because both are brown, you see!) ?‍♀️. Pour Bovril down sink. Switch off autopilot and start again!

Ye Gods woman, throwing away coffee!!!! Normally a capital offence, however, I do understand as it is very hard to make coffee before you have had coffee.

1. Pour water in cafetière to warm.
2. Grind coffee beans.
3. Empty water out, measure coffee into cafetière.
4. Pick up cafetière and throw contents into sink.
5. Stare in horror, and start again.

Suppressing urge to scream at DH when he tells you to “focus”is optional, especially when you feel he distracted you in the first place.

Looks like it’s going to be a good day!
