You are very welcome Brian. GNHQ had to tell me how to get back to my familiar format. I felt really unhappy with the unusual one I found myself on. Glad you’re sorted now.

HellooOOOO, what a wallybrain I am. Thanks to your replies I was able to rectify it and get back to the format I know. Somehow or other I had changed my set up to mobile.
Silly really, we don't have a mobile phone.
Anyway, back to normal now. Thanx, Brian.

Now I like the mobile site on my tablet. I hardly ever log on to Gransnet on the computer. For one thing, it's upstairs in DS's old room, and for another, I like the format better.

Oops, posted too soon. If I was using a laptop I'd use "desktop" (which is what your viewing) I cannot view laptop with out enlarging it, I then have to roam round the page to see it all. I don't know of any technical reason for the choice DannieRae other than that. I'm glad there is a choice.

I use the mobile site as I am using a smart phone and it's easier to view on a small screen.

Oh, out of interest, I just clicked on 'mobile site' and I didn't like it at all. I couldn't wait to get back to whatever this site is. Why is there a choice? I am using a laptop does that make a difference? I would appreciate someone explaining it to me - Thank you

Mine often changes format when I am going from thread to thread, I just scroll down and click desktop site to retrieve it.

Brian, the format did change a while ago, some of us weren`t happy with it.

Bumblebee scroll down to the bottom of the page and it will say either mobile site or desktop site. I changed mine a while back inadvertently. Try swapping over and see if that gets back to where you were.

We did have some changes a while ago, perhaps that is what has happened.
