Hunting around for curry ingredients - I still have beetroot in the garden. Would they be any use in a tandoori masala?

I have strange mushroom like thingies growing on the front lawn, any use?

Yes, any old things will go in the curry, I have left a plastic bag full of things that could go in it, in the Argy kitchen.Just make sure you wear a pair of marigolds before handling any if it, amd add plenty of curry powder.

I shall be otherwise engaged tonight and all of tomorrow, so leave it to others to man the bar, make coffees, clean up, cook and serve curries and organise the talent show on Saturday night,sorry! I have bought my sparkly top ( from M&S of course) to wear here in The Argy.I don’t usually buy classy clothes and pushed the boat out a bit for this one (£9!) but shall wear it every day now until Christmas Day ( when I will wear my

Barry says he will hand in his notice if the food here doesn’t improve, so we must make an effort ( he is so useful in so many ways, why, he will whip out his screwdriver whenever the situation calls for it and always carries a set of spanners.)

I am here already and have brought plastic holly and mistletoe to hang over the doorways, and have already hung fairy lights around my ample bosoms ( the lights are battery operated, otherwise I would have to stand near a plugpoint all day.)

Funny you should mention that! Big Jim is a dead ringer for Father Christmas, a couple of Fabreze and Cif cocktails and he is up for anything.
That should keep him occupied and prevent him from accompanying MD to the Edinburgh meet up.

Well, must say I am impressed, the place looks sparkly, the tree is amazing, seven feet tall and all silvery, matches my new shoes.The paper Chinese lanterns are a nice retro touch ( or have they been in the attic since 1958?)
