Never believed in love at first sight until I recently met a man. We agreed to stay in touch.
I feel like a 16?year old waiting for phone to ring.
Never thought I would feel like this again.
We agreed to keep in touch and meet up .
Help! What should I do?

Crazygran how I love that exciting feeling you give me hope that I may get that feeling about someone again. However I think if you’ve agreed to stay in touch why don’t you call him to see how he is and just have a general chat nothing heavy. How do you know he’s not feeling the same as you, you won’t know unless you make contact. Men like to feel wanted as we all do so I would suggest pick up the phone, life is for living don’t let this opportunity pass. Keep us updated please.

I hope you're swinging from the chandelier wearing you finest undies smile

For all you know he could be sitting at home thinking that you wouldn't be interested in him. If he doesn't ring after a week or so you could always ring him - just for a chat and to catch up. Good luck

Fantastic hope all goes well for you.

Beware it is a powerful drug. It can cause as much heartache as joy. You know this, just a reminder. It is both a blessing and a curse. So use wisely. Sitting on your hands and not ringing him will probably be the hardest thing. Let's hope you have cast a spell over him too. Good luck let us know.

Good luck but most of all have fun, but please be true to yourself and take each date as it comes.

Crazygran, I met the love of my life 12 years ago. Never realised what it was like to feel really loved and cherished; my ex husband was not the most loving of men. New man and I married 3 months ago and I've never been happier. Good luck, love and hugs xxx

Awwwww how wonderful. I do hope it works out for you x

If it's what you want Crazygran... go for it.... but me...once bitten , forever shy! I don't think love is freedom at all, it's always felt like imprisonment to me. But I've been a cynic these past 20 years , it works for me. But you grab what you want girl..but always on your terms. Good luck .

Enjoy it regardless of the outcome I think you're brave to contemplate another relationship well done

Crazygran I hope this goes well for you of course, but how you cope if he doesn't feel the same is to be delighted that you are ALIVE again. Don't wait around at home to hear from this man, get out there doing things that you enjoy in the meantime. Meeting new people will lead to finding close relationships again, so grab every opportunity you can. Is it possible for you to join the local U3A? So many new things to do there, and so many new people to meet. Good luck. flowers

Yes I believe in love at first sight, it’s a wonderful feeling. Enjoy it, I hope he does feel the same sunshine

If he doesn't feel the same you are still the lucky one because you have been able to feel it.
The unlucky ones are the ones unable to feel that way. in other words, he will be the loser, not you.

Crazygran Fri 27-Oct-17 18:43:53

How do I cope if he doesn't feel the same?

glammanana Fri 27-Oct-17 18:14:26

How lovely for you, just be a wee bit slow in accepting any new "date" we don't want to come across as too willing do we. best of luck xxx

That's lovely, keep us posted Crazygran,

Bellanonna Fri 27-Oct-17 17:26:27

Agree with Teetime. A friend of mine did just that and he backed off rather quickly. They do still meet for outings but he obviously didn’t want a permanent relationship.

Teetime Fri 27-Oct-17 17:23:27

Take it slow - don't frighten him off or on the other hand don't let him know how smitten you are until he is equally so.

Christinefrance Fri 27-Oct-17 17:10:22

Enjoy, life is for living, let us know what happens smile

Anniebach Fri 27-Oct-17 17:09:45
