MD that sounds like an awful night especially being shaken awake when you’d managed to sleep, then the alarm concert. Have a better night tonight.

MawB iPad’s are known to emit a light that keeps us awake so a trial without one might be good. Glad you did get some sleep.

Pro Plus tablets give me terrible palpitations!

I live alone, and do come to this thread when I wake at 3am, feel less lonely. Don't read any other thread or anything else on the iPad but lying awake in the night one can feel there is no one else on the earth, so popping on her just to say I am having a mug of tea then off again.

I am quite used to banging my head Bellanonna DH never sees bumps in the road, so the car roof and I are often in contact ?

2.30am, so very tired

Slept OK from about 10.30 to 1 a.m. since then I have been awake most of the time. This is by far the worst bout of insomnia I have ever had, and I have no idea what’s causing it. I feel I really can’t cope. I just want to stay in bed all day, but I can’t. Going slowly mad.

Isn't it odd Grandma70s how in our youth we just got into bed at night closed our eyes and the next thing we knew it was morning.

Because of family problems I too am having disrupted nights. I find it easy to drop off but keeping asleep for any length of time is the difficulty.

I think I shall go off and get a warming cup of tea and come back to bed and of course then I will feel my eyes closing. ?

I think I shall join your slowly going mad club.

I awoke at 3am, I do every night but not insomnia , a health problem. I am so very tired and long to get back to sleep.

Slept from about 12.30 to 5. Not enough. Difficult conversation late evening to blame initially then pain. I’m sure lack of sleep does impact my ability to fumction, it’s been going on for years, well 28 years to be exact. Guess we get used to it but it surely isn’t fun. Look after yourselves fellow insomniacs.

When I woke in the night, the first thing I thought of was you and hoping that you were also not awake.
You and your family are in my prayers.

I also first thought of you when I woke in the early hours and again a little while ago. There is much love out here for you.

As many have said, when I woke during the night I thought of you Annie. I’m hoping someone is with you at this sad time.

I have been awake and busy all day, Every now and then I think of Annie and feel dreadfully sad for her and her family.

Me too, often thinking of Annie. We may think we are alone but when people are thinking and praying we are not. Big hugs, Annie.xx
