Seeing in the dark!

Funnily enough a friend of a friend used a pair of these when we all went out for a meal a couple of weeks ago.
They caused great hillarity amongst the waiting staff, not in a rude way I might add.
I thought they were a great idea.

Nothing to do with the OP, but I was out at a local restaurant with our reps from the UK. One of them (even though he was sitting next to me and only had to ask) got out his mobile to put in translations of the menu.

The waiter thought he was having trouble reading and brought a huge magnifying glass, which they obviously keep for the elderly and visually impaired.

The rep was only about his mid-thirties - we had a giggle.

The glasses with lights sound a great idea! Trouble is I have to wear prescription lenses so would be no good for me.

Wow what a good idea. We buy all our reading glasses from the pound shop and have several pairs lying around the house. I might add a pair of these to our collection

Great idea for crafters too - they've been around for a while but much more expensive.

I haven't tried them but if your prescription is for reading they would be fine - DH has prescription readers.

Son of DH is a plumber/ central heating installer and whatever Corgi chaps do - he says they would be great for looking into dark corners at the joints and things!
