We're only half way through September and I noticed this tree in the main car park where I live!
On Tuesday, in the garden centre they had displays of glass poppy tables and trays.
Is it too soon do you think?

I really dislike any 'seasonal' item going on sale for more than a month before the event. I saw Christmas cards on sale in August and told the shop owner/manager that I wouldn't go back into that shop until Mid-November.

I don't think it's too early, our local garden center is installing their Christmas display. Now that is too early!

I don't wear a poppy until the beginning of November, its way to early. I know it might sound silly, but I feel if you start wearing it to early it looses its significance somehow, you become blind to it. My grandfather use to take his off at night and put it on the dressing table, then replace it in the morning, even if wearing the same jacket, he use to say the act of pinning it in place was reaffirming the why. I still do this, and as I get older I sort of understand

Last week I received a preview of the Cotton Traders spring/summer 2018 catalogue!
