Not times.

A survey carried out for Woman's revealed the best place for women to live is -

I have no idea what East Dunbartonshire is like, perhaps somebody will tell us?

I'm struggling to understand the point of the survey!

lemongrove Tue 12-Sept-17 18:21:22

Feeling safe perhaps, as a woman?

Many people would give their eye-teeth to live in Islington!

It's a titchy inner-London borough and very expensive - not much green space though.

I expect much of it's to do with affordability of housing, or lack of.

I quote -

Islington , residents reported low levels of happiness, life satisfaction and feelings that their life is worthwhile , alongside some of the highest levels of anxiety.

The borough also performed badly when it came to environmental quality, housing affordability , life expectancy and safety,

Islington did score better when it came to access to culture and entertainment and education. It ranked 16th for women's wages (£16.35 per hour ). However a larger gender wage gap bumped it's overall score down.

2nd. Blackpool

3rd. Corby

4th. Boston

I live in London but I could never afford to live in Islington. I would not mind living there at all- so close to the West End and theatres.
