Eloethan I disagree- Maw is merely stating that there are more important things for many others in life to think about and who changes the loo rolls is not one of them. I would never describe Maw as nasty, the opposite actually.

That's just plain nasty Mawbroon.

Oh dear - got out on the wrong side of the bed ?
I could ask the same?

Try the same whinge moan with those members who are widowed, have partners with terminal disease, with dementia, or who cheat on them or who beat them up.

"Turns" don't come into it in real life. hmm

brilliant idea. thank you.
i have noticed that tongue-in-cheek comments are taken wrongly. I don't have much of a sense of humour, but I do recognise a jokey post when I see one...

Choose your battles, but have fun doing it, leave the empty roll on the holder but hide a full one behind the pedestal for your own use. confused

MawBroon is right choose your battles, some things are a bit irritating but not worth a drama. GN is a good place to let off steam ☺

Choose your battles. So it's not fair?
Nobody ever promised life would be.

Don't do it

Having just changed the loo roll for the umpteenth time, it made me wonder why it was always my turn to do so?
It's also my turn to wash the saucepans - DH's domain is "his" dishwasher; I'm not allowed to load it as I do it "wrong"!
But it is also my turn to fold the clean towels, etc. We are both retired. OK he does the bill paying but it is not relentless day to day stuff.
Whinge over! grin
