Just caught up with the latest episode and yes, Gemma is bonkers but I can't help sympathizing with her now. No, she will not kill her ex husband as we need a response from him to end the series. He has to be one of the most evil tv characters of all time.

In the TV mag I bought today it refers to the 'shock finale'. I don't think that's a spoiler - it's a given.

I too am really enjoying it.

I think that he just has the edge on really bad nastiness!! All coming back to bite him as he has bitten off more than he can chew with the young wife!

Lillie and Kacee, I'm with you, think it is terrific telly. Yesterday's episode, the way they showed what Dr Foster was attempting to do was excellent. Apparently the BBC won't say if there is going to be a third series, the answer would definitely let the cat out of the bag.

For me it is cinematically, psychologically and emotionally brilliant. I'm glad I've stuck with this series after the rather slow over-dramatic start.

Is it a case of can't live with you but can't live without you either with these two.
They appear completely obsessed with each other and have no control over their emotions regardless of the damage they are doing to anyone else.

I don't think she did. She turned the steering wheel at the last minute. And there is a whole final episode to fill. I anticipate more physical violence from him.

I'm getting worried now. An interesting article in The Times today says the writer based his character, Dr. Foster, on Medea in Greek Mythology who kills her ex's lover as well as her own children as revenge. Sounds a bit grisly.

For those of us who have suffered this wouldn't we have liked to? It's just a drama but hey who needs realism when we are hurt!!!!

Just caught up with the latest episode. I think it is very well done, the deed, angst, retribution and all that. The saddest part of all is how their actions are screwing up their son. It would be wonderful if the mum and son drove off into the sunset and got on happily with their lives. Wouldn't be very good TV though. Bring it on!

Caught up with this last night. I think the young boy who plays Tom conveys teenage angst incredibly well, not surprising he has it in spades given what his parents are putting him through. Maybe he will be "one to watch" for the future.

I was so intrigued by merlot's post that I did the following I replayed the bit of her driving away, I pressed pause when the sign came into view, I couldn't"t read it properly so I took a screen shot. I then went into photos and enlarged it so I could read the sign ' You are now leaving Parminister'. I can't believe I just did that..... I need a life???
