Yes I remember my grandma's old fashioned steamed puddings I have lots of lovely memories of my mother making them too, although they tended to be occasional, which made them more of a treat. We did have rice pudding fairly frequently, I remember the lovely nutmeg sprinkled on the top, I did it for my own children when they were young, delicious, unlike the vile stuff the school forced down our necks
I do a proper pudding if we have guests. Things such as Pavlova, Lemon Meringue Pie, Banoffee Pie, Summer Pudding, Crumble. Other than that we don't have a pudding, aside from a few strawberries or a nectarine (my favourite fruit) I do love puddings though but unfortunately they tend to be calorific
