Now, that's why I could never block any one person's posts. I did see the message deleted by GN ...etc from Mohamed so Roses comment makes perfect sense, but usually I miss them and only get the reply - and it's so infuriating! I could never not see everything! It's up to me as to whether or not I bother to read the whole post, but for it not to be there? Noo!

I come on GN because the majority of my friends are like minded so it is always useful to read views and opinions of people who do not share my political/social/belief system. I learn a lot, reflect and sometimes even modify my thinking.

However there are a few posters who bang on a bit about the same thing on almost every thread they post on. I would sometimes like to 'hide' their contributions and I think thought that would be true for a few!

At the start of this thread .jen said she comes to this forum to discuss with like minded people all these posts on Jen is on about being able to ignore some posters, GG always agrees with Jen, even a pea brain can work out what the hope is,

It's not an excuse Ana. What I said is what I thought about your posts. I am not making any excuse just pointing out that this appears to be the cut and thrust that happens. I may not like it but it is how these things go on here.

No Jalima they are not but if you find it too much the only alternative is to leave the thread or the forum.

Personally I come on here for the discussion and am quite happy to go elsewhere if it gets silly or unpleasant but one of the biggest complaints we saw on this thread was about the politics threads and people feeling they could not join them - not me, other people.
