Why would anyone do this?

Unfortunatley this is happening all to often I have seen nappies and rubbish left under a car when it has driven off and the debris has to be removed by the car park attendant,people just don't care and are too lazy it shows a total lact of respect to your surrounding I wonder what they do in their own houses.

Unfortunately we live amongst some very lazy, thoughtless people. I followed a new Mercedes home yesterday, the driver was obviously unwrapping a snack and throwing all the litter out of the window. I'd forgotten to put the camera on, again, so no evidence!

I live in a semi-rural area and am always picking up rubbish that others have left on a daily basis. Yesterday it was 2 of each of the following- sandwich wrappers, beer bottles, crisp packets, chocolate bar wrappers. All discarded next to a fallen tree which they'd obviously used to have their picnic on.

These are obviously folk who enjoy the countryside otherwise why would they walk to the area, so why spoil it I know other people who do the same as me and pick other people's rubbish up - I dread to think what sort of state the area would be in if we didn't pick up.

I walk around my village every morning and find litter all the time. I am frequently to be seen carrying bottles or cans etc. to put in the nearest bin. I sometimes wonder whether I am thought to be the village drunk, always with a drink in my hand!

Perhaps take a carrier bag in your pocket?

Yes, I take a carrier bag along with my dog bags... covering all eventualities!

Just sharing a story that may make you smile (a bit, although I didn't mean to cause so much trouble!)).
I was driving to work, along a rural road, and saw the taxi driver in front of me throwing loads of litter out of the window! I beeped,more was thrown, and continued, leaving a trail of debris.
I knew that I would be able to write down the registration number when we stopped at the junction with the main road. We queued for a bit, and I thought I would also write down the taxi number - and then I saw that the reg no on the licence plate did not marry with the car.
I rang the council when I got into work, and reported both infractions. They rang back to say that the driver was operating illegally, having taken someone else's taxi licence plate. They would now be banned from operating car for hire in our, and neighbouring authorities.
It seemed a harsh penalty for littering......

Not harsh as the greater crime was the theft of a taxi licence plate.

I know, but, as the licensing authority said, no-one normally checks it! I would also imagine that it was taken with the connivance of the original licencee, who called it a 'theft' so they wouldn't get banned.
I was also interested, as I remember local police saying that uninsured drivers are often very 'safe' in their actual driving skills as they don't want anyone to notice them! This driver obviously hadn't taken that on board!

Good on the Licensing Authority just think of the problems if he had an accident and people where injured he would have been uninsured.

I followed a company van one day, the driver was obviously eating his McLunch and throwing out each piece of paper/polystyrene/cup as he finished it. I phoned his company when I got to the office and reported him, said that he was a terrible ambassador for their company. The woman who answered the phone ( a small family type business) was really angry with him an assured me he would be spoken to. I almost felt sorry for him driving blissfully ignorant of the bollo**ing ahead of him.....almost felt sorry
