This week I looked on eBay for shrubs. Didn't buy.

Next day received a mail . Based on my viewing they suggested others items of interest to me,

Men's pants

Men's Lycra shorts.

Oil for a car engine.

An iPhone

Some contraption for my tv so I can view the same programme as I go from room to room .

Other items but I deleted the mail.

There was not one shrub/plant included

You need to google "pearl necklace slang" - that should do the trick!

DH received an eBay suggestion today. He'd been looking at ways of suspending an extra bed/hammock in the campervan.

The suggestion showed an image of a very scantily clad lady taken from a variety of angles in order to sell him stockings. I don't think they'll suit him to tbh grin

DanniRae Sun 07-May-17 19:38:36

No, still not going to google it! Despite being very curious shock

Maggiemaybe Sun 07-May-17 17:35:43

Yes, I had to trawl through a lot of jewellers' details on my Norton safe search before I found it, Ana. grin

Ana Sun 07-May-17 16:43:38

Well, although I had some idea what was meant, my Googing came up with nothing except the most respectable 'pearl necklaces'...

Don't know what search engines you lot use!

Anniebach Sun 07-May-17 16:34:16

Oooooooh blush

Anniebach Sun 07-May-17 16:31:29

I have to go google ,mi want to know ?

Galen Sun 07-May-17 16:07:48

May I please point out that none of my pearl necklaces are of THAT variety!,

Greyduster Sun 07-May-17 15:59:39

I just looked up the "jewellery item"!! ? Probably what comes of too much fidgeting!

Greyduster Sun 07-May-17 15:55:33

This is a fidget spinner. They are on the point of banning them in schools. You put it on a flat surface and, well, spin it! confused. Can't imagine why EBay would think I couldn't live without one.

shysal Sun 07-May-17 14:04:42

Just out of interest, what is a fidget spinner? I read it as spanner, which didn't help!

Greyduster Sun 07-May-17 13:17:54

Why does eBay think I can't live without fidget spinners? I'm sure I could find something more interesting to fidget with if I really put my mind to it!??

annodomini Sun 07-May-17 10:08:30

Once - and once only - I Googled 'Toys'. I discovered items I'd never heard of and certainly wouldn't put in the GCs' Christmas stocking! blush

vampirequeen Sun 07-May-17 09:35:24

Many years ago I was preparing a lesson about fairytales. I googled Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Let's just say what I found was very different to the Disney version.

ninathenana Sun 07-May-17 09:32:25

Well you learn something new every day smile
Nothing shocking about it.

DanniRae Sun 07-May-17 09:23:44

No, I'm not going to look - I'd rather stay in ignorance!
Many years ago my ex-son-in-law (who was 6ft 7ins tall) googled 'Big Men'!! - let's just say it wasn't what he was looking for...........shock

annsixty Sun 07-May-17 09:07:50

Well in the deaire to educate myself so did I.
I just hope none of my GC go through my browsing history grin

Greenfinch Sun 07-May-17 08:33:41

Oh dear!I have just looked it up. shock grin

ninathenana Sun 07-May-17 08:00:27

Off to google, I'm obviously more naive than I thought.
Will have to ask D if she knows grin

Luckygirl Sun 07-May-17 07:59:42

Very nicely put Pittcity!

Pittcity Sun 07-May-17 07:49:58

Who's going to explain that a "pearl necklace " is something that a man can give you without the need to visit a jewellers!
I am too coy to tell you how, Google it (it's not too shocking)!

BlueBelle Sun 07-May-17 05:23:40

Me neither ???

mumofmadboys Sat 06-May-17 23:23:34

I'm none the wiser either. Please explain someone.

Jalima1108 Sat 06-May-17 23:00:10

Well, I have bought some trailing lobelia called 'String of Pearls' - not that I assume.

Jalima1108 Sat 06-May-17 22:59:27

Not just me then
Put us out of our misery please!!
