Brilliant warm sunshine on Dartmoor today, walking my son's dog. More like June than April. Forecast to be colder tommorrow though.

Beautiful day too in south Devon. I've been on a house hunting expedition and staying with DD3. I'm supposed to be on my way home but have picked up a horrible vomity bug from DGS and am confined to barracks while they are all having fun on the beach. Grrrrh. ?

Wish I could be out there, but you know what? I have just had to retreat inside, for the second day running, because someone near thinks - fabulous day, let's go out and burn some sausages! There's so much stink. I nave had to shut all my windows and stay in here. I loathe barbecues!

It's been a fab weekend. Didn't they mention snow on Countryfile weather for the week last Sunday?

I've been out trimming shrubs most of the day, with a sit down in between with tea and my book, I've also come in as its just too hot but the shade from my trees is starting to creep up the garden so I can go back out in a bit , my usual tanned arms and legs are already appearing again with just this few days of exposure it took me an hour to find my floppy hat, who knew it was hanging up in the shed.. grin
Just enjoy it while ye may tomorrow the temps are shooting back down into the mid 50's.

Lovely here in Cheshire though clouds are now appearing. I am being kept from the garden by the pollen from the nearby birches.

Here in S.W Scotland yesterday was glorious, managed to move a shed in the garden to make room for shed no4, today started sunny and warm by midday we had big black clouds and a chilly wind now 2 hours later the sun is back and i can get out and finish the planting that i intended to do yesterday but just like KateyKrunch i found my sun lounger

It was lovely here in the Garden which is quite sheltered, bit of a chilly breeze in other places though. I sat out for half an hour, still had a " Vest", and thin jumper on though.I am a cold soul, DH says I am a reptile!

I'm sure it reached 20 here in Cheshire - at least in my sheltered garden. I administered sunscreen and sat out with the newspaper. My knees went quite pink!

NW England here and it's been gloriously sunny and warm all day. We made a picnic this evening and went to watch the sun set over the Cheshire plains. Not many days we were able to do that last summer, so making the most of it.

Where were you all? Up in Northumberland there was a rather cool breeze. If you weren't in direct sunlight it was quite cool, not at all the temperature for reclining on a sun lounger.

I had a lazy day too, on a recliner with my new Dyson fan cooling me! I love sunny days in Spring. I didn't even complete my normal 10,000 steps, only managed 7,500, but I didn't care.

Its been gorgeous here in London too, I've spent hours outside reading and gardening and its just so nice to have all the doors and windows open into the evening too. Long may it last. sunshinesunshinesunshine

What a fabulous day weather wise today, I would love to live somewhere with this climate all year round, but I realise that if I lived in, lets say, Spain, I would spend most of the day asleep on a sun-lounger like I have done today zzzzz.
