laptops

I am thinking of swapping my computer for a lap top. I would like to know how other people have managed to use their laptop, and whether it was difficult to change from one to the other. I have some ideas of which laptop I would like and someone to come and set it up, and I am assuming that using it will be similar to the way I use my present set up. Can anyone please advise? Thanks.

I have had to move over to a laptop for work from my large desktop but have 3 monitors attached to it as well as a keyboard and mouse so find it ok. I also have a mac with a large screen - I think I would struggle with just a laptop. I use my iPad for books and e-mail but not much else - apart from Solitaire grin
