If I'm really honest, yes sometimes, not often. One can drone on about football and how his team are doing, he does share this with his father, they support the same team. I wish I could care slightly about sport, the Olympics being an exception, but I just don't. He also moans constantly about his ex, her extended family and the endless arguments they have over the children. The other one gets on pet subjects, which can range from music, emails at work, work colleagues. A favourite one, he was in his teens at the time, were rock stars who died at 27 Kurt Cobain etc., how they died, their mental state at the time. We were in a hotel restaurant in America and he managed to keep a conversation on this subject going for an hour, well we were just listening really. My husband was wearing a very glazed expression, when son asked permission to go up to watch tv in his room, we said in unison with a sigh of relief "please do". Having said all that, they also entertain me and make me laugh a hell of a lot too.
