Sixty five years ago, my dad walked me down the aisle to give me away to the man who still holds my hand when we cross the road. No idea where the time has gone, not set the world on fire, just lived very ordinary lives, with love, and shared sorrow and happiness. Two lucky people.

That is wonderful news.
If I am correct you must be around 12 yrs younger than my old mother who will be 100 at the end of this year and who had her blood pressure taken two days ago which was equal to a teenager!

Many congratulations to you both.

I saw a programme about people 100 years old, and one couple had been married 80 years. I hope you manage the same - or more?

How absolutely lovely! Don't know why but this moved me to tears. This cannot be described as ordinary in any way, just look around you and see how many people have achieved a happy marriage for a lifetime (not me).
